Our Vision:

The vision of the department is to improve the health of the people of Wisconsin and the nation through leadership in family medicine education, clinical practice, research, and community service.

The faculty, residents, and staff of the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Wisconsin are passionate about the healthcare of the people of the state of Wisconsin, and continuing the positive impact our physicians have on our patients.

With the anticipated primary care physician shortage, it's critical that we continue the good work of family medicine here in our clinics throughout Wisconsin and nationally. So many amazing advances are happening in primary care every day and family medicine is at the forefront of healthcare improvement in America.

In order to maintain our vision, we need your support. Please 'Make a Donation' today. (Click button on the right.)

Become a friend of Family Medicine and show our team support. Make a donation to support Team DFM and show your support of family medicine as our team of skiers compete at the upcoming Birkebeiner. The support you give is invaluable.

All contributions are tax deductible and will support the UW Department of Family Medicine’s mission.

At DFM, we are saving and changing lives!!! Become a friend today!

Thank you.
