Join us for our 3rd annual 5k run/walk on Saturday, September 14, 2013.
It's the 3rd annual 5K run/walk! Get your friends and family and form a team, or run on your own.
- Runners: $35 ($40 day of race)
- Walkers: $30 ($35 day of race)
- All Students: $20 ($25 day of race)
About the Event
A signed waiver is required to participate in the event. A link to the waiver will be sent in your registration confirmation email, or view and print the waiver (pdf). You can return the waiver at Check-In.
Day-of Registration and Check-In: 7:30-9am
Run Starts: 9am
1-Mile and 3-Mile Walk Starts: 9:10am
Post-Run and Walk Celebration: 10:30am
Dogs and strollers are welcome. If running, those with dogs and strollers will be asked to start in the back. Dogs must be leashed.

This annual event is held on the UW-Madison campus, near where groundbreaking cancer research is happening each and every day!
The event will start and end at the cul-de-sac between Nielsen Tennis Stadium and Goodman Softball Complex, 800 Walnut Street (located adjacent to UW Hospital and Clinics).
NOTE: Final route maps will be posted closer to the event date.
Parking is free in the following locations:
- Lot 76, just east of the Nielsen Tennis Stadium
- Lot 60, just east of lot 76
- Lot 82, just east of the Waisman Center
There will be accurate chip timing for the 5k run. Awards will be given for the 1st place male and female runners, as well as the 1st and 2nd place teams.

Create your own personal fundraising page where you can e-mail others, tell them why you are racing for cancer research and encourage them to support you and the cause. Friends and family can donate directly to you online by going here.
Fundraising as a Team?
Each member of your team can have their own personal fundraising page. Your page will show how much you raised as an individual and how much your team has raised totally.
