Make a donation to support Pancreas Research today!
The pancreas cancer research fund was established in 2011 at UW Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC). This fund was set up to allow individuals to contribute specifically toward dedicated pancreas cancer research "pilot projects" at UWCCC. On average, it takes roughly $25,000 to 50,000 to get a pilot project funded for one year.
UWCCC also has a grass roots volunteer group called Pancreas Cancer Task Force, which aims not only to raise awareness of pancreas cancer research going on here, but also to raise additional funding sources for researching the disease.
FACTS:
Pancreas cancer is currently the fourth-leading cause of all cancer-related deaths in the U.S. Compared to all other of cancer deaths, pancreatic cancer diagnosed patients have the lowest survival rate, with only 6 percent of patients surviving five years.
Pancreas cancer survival rates have not changed appreciably in the last 40 years.
There is no reliable early detection method for pancreatic cancer.
100% of your donation will go toward pancreas cancer research at UWCCC.
Any donation you make is tax deductible, and you will receive a receipt for your records.
Thank you for your contribution and your generosity!
