UW Hospital and Clinics Ranked #1 in Wisconsin

In its first-ever ranking of hospitals by state, U.S. News & World Report magazine has named UW Hospital and Clinics the top hospital in Wisconsin, and among the nation’s top 50 hospitals in 7 medical specialties. An additional 5 specialties were named “high-performing.”

 

 

Just last month, the key federal agency measuring health care quality named Wisconsin the second-highest in the nation based on more than 170 measures of quality. With such a high benchmark to meet, being ranked No. 1 is truly an honor. And we also believe it's a privilege, because the rankings are a reflection of the care you receive.
