A Community Discussion: Children in Crisis

Join us for a free film screening and panel discussion featuring the HBO documentary, Weight of the Nation: Children in Crisis.

Many parents are concerned about how to help their kids maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle, but are at a loss as to what to do. Watch the film and talk to UW Health Pediatric Fitness Clinics experts about:
  • How the environment and culture we live in impacts our children’s health
  • How to identify if your child’s health may be at risk and how to talk to your child about it
  • How to take action as a family to become healthy
7-8pm: “Weight of the Nation: Children in Crisis” Film Screening
8-9pm: Discussion and Audience Q&A
